Our Policies

Your Privacy & Security

  • We value your trust as much as your quilts. Any information collected at checkout (such as your name, email, and  shipping address) is used solely to process your order and provide shipping updates.

  • We never sell your data: Your personal information is never shared with or sold to third parties.

  • Secure Payments: All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted gateways (like PayPal and Square).  We never see or store your credit card details.

  • Communication: We will only email you regarding your specific order, unless you explicitly opt-in to our studio newsletter.

Shipping & Handling Policy 

  •  Processing Time:  We aim to ship all in-stock items within one business day. Orders received after 5pm will be processed the next business day and shipped on the second day (48 hour turnaround).  Custom orders or quilts requiring finishing will have specific timelines as discussed with Village Stitchery at the time of special order.

  • Carriers: We primarily ship via USPS flat rate ($9.99).  Local longarm customers can opt to pickup at the studio and have shipping fee waived.  Village Stitchery will notify you when your order is ready and arrange a pick-up time with you.  All orders $75 or more are eligible for FREE shipping (with the exception of finished quilts).  You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your label is printed.

  • All quilts that have been longarm quilted, along with commission quilts will be shipped based on size and weight to be determined at the time of shipping.  Quilts for sale on the website are subject to the flat rate shipping fee of $9.99 and are exempt from the $75 and over free shipping.

  • Packaging: Every item is carefully packed in water-proof packaging to ensure it arrives at your doorstep in perfect "studio-fresh" condition.

Returns & Exchanges

 

  • General Returns: Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt of purchase provided they are unopened and in like-new condition.  Fabric cuts that are not sold as pre-cuts cannot be returned.  Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.  Please send your return request to villagestitcherynh@gmail.com for prior approval.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If your products are damaged in shipping, please notify us at villagestitcherynh@gmail.com or call us at 603-387-716 within 7 days of receipt and we will be happy to work with you to resolve the matter.
